DUAL-BOOT LINUX! EndeavourOS + elementary OS installation #archlinux #ubuntu

In this video, you will see how to install 2 Linux operating systems and dual-boot between them. I’m using EndeavourOS and elementary OS. Please note while this video does a lot of handholding, this may not be for absolute beginners but if you are familiar with the terms BIOS, boot, flash, ISO, distro, then you’ll be right at home.

NOTE: I recently got EndeavourOS unable to boot with “A start job is running” message. I fixed it and made a post about it here: https://sidestreamnetwork.net/endeavouros-stuck-at-a-start-job-is-running/

elementary OS is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu and EndeavourOS is based on Arch Linux. The goal of this video is to show how easy-ish it is to customize the installation of Linux operating systems especially if you have a spare boot drive you can use for this. If not, virtual machines will do but they usually do not provide a smooth experience where we end up getting disappointed by the sluggishness of these installations after testing them for a while. I let EndeavourOS use the systemd-boot bootloader while elementary OS uses GRUB so this probably led to each of them having their separate entries in the BIOS instead of a single one.
