linux web server
Thanks for the quick and simple DDNS example you provided 🙂
10:23 I use nginx, the steps are the same right?
It seems that your ISP doesn't block the port 80 of your home server's IP address, ami I right? This kind of ISPs are hard to come by, usually they don't allow 80 or 443.
im getting a weird error trying to set it up on truenas…
sudo crontab -e
sorry user root is not allowed to execute /usr/bin/crontab -e as root on truenas.local
For those who are behind CGNAT this is not going to work…
Great video on remote access ! ! Do you have any tips on best method and practices (and the most secure) to remote connect to the Proxmox VE Server Web console UI without connection going through some sort of central pipe, like VPN or Cloudflare or such. I want to connect to my Proxmox Web UI remotely as I travel a lot and don't want messy subscriptions either.

Can i use this to remotly access my RPI?
Hi, I was wondering how to remotely access a server I use on the road that I connect to the internet via mobile hotspot. So, my setup is mobile hotspot>wireless to ethernet adapter>my device (only accepts ethernet port) Since my mobile hotspot does not provide a static public IP address, how could I use this method to get access? Thanks
Hi friend, i got ost when you start typing codes, bcoz i am working on windows, may you please send instructions on how do i go about the same scenario here in windows? … i have xampp(apache and mysql) installed on my windows pc and i would like to access my server remotelly …. PLEASE HELP.
this was amazing, really cleared things up for me about dynamic dns, thank you!
Thanks!
I followed the steps but i still am unable to accees it from anywhere
much appreciated as I'm looking into a solution to change from NOIP as a failsafe option
Amazing content, thanks very much. This was the method I was looking for (https + free domain + ddns)
I can say that being able to do these things is like a superpower to me, and at the same time it is so easy to learn them. So far I've realized there are multiple ways to solving remote homeserver connection (without static IP and without paying for a domain): using DDNS and free domain, SSH tuneling, or just using onion routing addresses. Thanks again, and thanks youtube!
will dynamic dns help with streaming and iptv thats all i care about?
