Episode 67 – The Patron Saint of CNCF KubeCon Nanci Lancaster
Nanci is the Senior Open Source Community Manager for VMware focusing on
@carvel_dev (which provides a set of reliable, single-purpose, composable tools that aid in your application building, configuration, and deployment to Kubernetes) and @projectpinniped (which simplifies user authentication on any Kubernetes cluster).
Nancy is also the patron saint of KubeCon’s. For a number of years, she was the contact for all the larger events the CNCF put together such as KubeCon+CloudNativeCon in Europe, US, and China. She has helped countless people on their CloudNative journey in helping speakers feel welcome and supported. She created a diversity selection process that is the high water mark for how folx are selected for the largest show in Cloud Native.
“Saint” Nancy appropriately is our final guest for the KubeCon EMEA Special and gives the perfect segue to KubeCon EMEA 2021 May 4th – May 7th.
