Evolution of Kubernetes Storage with Bart Farrell and Aitor Artola | CloudNative.fm Ep #11
In this episode, we’re going to talk about relatively the most complex topic in Kubernetes and that is storage, with our guests from Data on Kubernetes, An open-source community that aims to help you get up to speed on storage inside Kubernetes, Bart Farrell and Aitor Artola.
If you’ve wanted to understand what the Kubernetes volume subsystem offers, you will quickly be inundated with buzzwords like Flex Volumes, CSI, in-tree, out-of-tree, Persistent Volumes, Local Volumes, Storage Classes, drivers, plugins, volumes, dynamic provisioning, and more.
Difficult to wrap your head around unless you’ve emerged in the lingo.
In this talk, we will unravel the state of Kubernetes Storage and how it emerges.
Let us introduce our guest: Aitor Artola Dynamic industrial engineer in electronics, he started his career in technical areas related to software development and systems management, moving gradually to managment roles.
