EXCLUSIVE: Native iMessage for Android – No Apple ID Needed!
Goodbye, green bubbles… iMessage has been completely reverse engineered bringing _native_ support to Android! This isn’t like Nothing Chats or AirMessage, it’s the first truly *real* iMessage experience—without compromise.

A new app called Beeper Mini claims to seamlessly integrate iMessage functionality on Android devices, potentially revolutionizing cross-platform messaging. Developed from the open-source project pypush by a high school student and supported by Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky, this app promises secure and direct messaging without requiring user’s Apple ID credentials. However, it raises questions about its legitimacy and compliance with Apple’s policies, especially considering the controversies surrounding previous attempts like Sunbird and Nothing Chats. As Beeper Mini enters the market, it remains to be seen whether this ambitious endeavor will truly deliver a reliable iMessage experience for Android users or encounter resistance from Apple.

This is a system designing class for Sunbird & Nothing.
Yes, totally magic reverse engineered right now, as apple have to start using RCS.
What happens when Apple have implemented RCS? Then this app is pointless. iMessage and Google Messages can then communicate natively.
Quinn, I think you are wrong when it comes to thinking apple WON'T be screwed if they opened up iMessage. I think they know that's why most people stay on iPhone. My wife and I just bought new Pixel 8s. The day I put the order in, was the day beeper mini was announced. What great timing. Now, we just have to remove the apple watch and iPads from our daily carry and we will be free of the walled garden. I think many more are like us as well.
The features android provides far outweigh the negatives which are minor at this point. Both iOS and Android are very mature platforms. One is stuck in the past and one is moving to the present and future. After being with Apple since 2013, it's time to move to the present and future.
That comment at the end 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sadly there is a step 3.
Just did this and gor an email from apple that my appleID was used to log into an iphone 7 😂😂😂 This is so sick
Sounds too good to be true? $2 a month to send a message I can send zero cost using every other app, do you think I'm sick?
So, $2/mo to change the color of a chat bubble? Why?
I'll never understand the frenzy about iMessage. At all
What android phone are you using towards the end of your video. The screen edges are very curved.
That’s the only thing no one uses sms in the UK WhatsApp is just so pervasive.
I would use Nothing Chats, not worth paying for reverse engineering, could have gotten an iphone if i really needed iMessage…
I wouldn't use this app purely bc I don't care if my chats with my friends are green bubbles or basic SMS. At this point, google messages allows me to react and interpret iPhone reactions and gifs in a native format so it feels like seamless RCS. It for sure isn't seamless for the iPhone user but that's their issue rn. Google reversing the tables on Apple is good. Hopefully they adopt this so they can purely focus on native iMessage protocol instead of having to keep a dictionary of iMessage msg decodings
Will you get green messages from your android friends? That'd be pretty hilarious because then you'd become the snobby iPhone person. Honestly most of the explanations were over my head but I understand how to make it work. Sadly the monthly subscription is a deal breaker for me no matter how great it is. It does look polished tho, with a lack of FaceTime being the only dead giveaway I noticed.
I currently use AirMessage for friends and family with iPhones. The only downside to using AirMessage is that when you message someone with an iPhone, it doesn't show up with your phone number but instead uses your email address that is registered with your Apple account. Beeper Mini seems to solve that issue. My only real question/need/request is that I be able to use Beeper Mini ONLY for people that use an iPhone. I like the way Google Messages works and looks and do NOT want to swap messaging apps. Plus, at least half of the people I text have Android and use Google Messages. Losing RCS just so I can FINALLY see when someone is typing or has read my message or sending full quality photos is a NO GO for me. 🙄
Did you just call all android users "broke boy"? lmao, smh, tell that to our $2,000 Fold owners
Either they're getting thrashed with new account requests or it's no longer supported. Just tried with my Pixel 7 Pro and it says "Google Sign-In Error.Null" 😕
Pretty cool, but $2 a month just to get Apple users to see the blue bubble? And it is cool most features also work, except Facetime, which honestly is the biggest frustration for me as an Android user. As iPhone users have to download Google meet for us to video call, and it's not seamless like it is P2P with Apple products or Android products. This could all be fixed so easily if Apple wasn't so damn stubborn or is it greed?
Problem solved in America rest of us use WhatsApp
Security is not their concern 😭
I still do not get why this whole iMessage thing on android is such a big deal? Is it some weird USA only thing?
where can i find the wallpaper on the android phone?
Could you enable native FaceTime on Android devices using the same method?
Don't pay for this.
It is probably technically not legal and exploits a loophole in iMessage. Don’t think of it as a permanent solution. It will work hardly for like few weeks, months at best and then die. And when that happens, say goodbye to your chats.
Why not just buy an old iphone (even the iphone 5 can still send an imessage) if you really wanted imessage?
iMessage is def a plus for Apple they will lose customers if android becomes better overtime
1:30 No way! back at it again to making people's life easier!
telegram is better then any massaging services.
why does everything have to be subscription based?
"It's not sketchy (think like previous attempts)……. its reverse engineered… paid subscription,… serial number that they tell Apple falsely we're legit" Uh hu. Nothing sketchy at all about that.
Actually, Telegram is better than WhatsApp. More than messaging though, I (along with everyone) would be more interested with AirDrop intercompatibility where the best I can at think the moment is PairDrop which is simply web based.
Just imagine: Apple itself opening up iMessage to 3rd party operating systems
But alas, we live in a society… and this will probably never happen because eCoSysTEm and well… M O N E Y
Keep getting an error when I press free trial
here's hoping for a desktop beeper UI, i just wanna see my iphone texts on my linux laptop
You Americans with your bubble issues. 🙂 telegram has all the features and then some, I mean as a whole messenger experience. Whatsupp is utter garbage
I believe this is excellent fscking praxis of Cory Doctorow's concept of "Competitive Compatibility" or adversarial interoperability and I'm here all day for it! 😆
How is this coming out a month after I bought a stupid iPhone. I could have had a Z flip
I still don't know anyone that actually uses imessage, but it is rather interesting to see people break through it.
Billions of us just use Whatsapp 🙄
