Exporting 3D Models to Godot 4 | GlTF settings

An overview on how to export and import 3D models into Godot.
And some of the common issues I found along the way.

CHAPTERS:
0:00 Intro
0:17 Blender files
0:52 FBX files
1:28 GlTF files
3:04 Godot forward and model forward
4:04 Shared materials
5:48 .glb without embedded textures
6:15 Animated models
7:51 Inherited scenes and using models

—–personal notes
I think the flow of the video was kinda bad.
The texture issue was divided in several different sections of the video.
And I don’t think I covered inherited nodes and how to use them properly.
There was also a slight poping sound on the voice recording at the very end.
I might redo this video in the future(far away future), making it about only glTF.

  • Great video
I'm creating an asset pack for Godot. Is it advisable to extract the collision and the model, like 'model_colonly'? Or is it not necessary?
