Ad blockers do not violate the terms of service + ads do not allow YouTube to be used by billions worldwide, is it just me or am I completely missing their argument here

Yeah I find any add offensive to my taste and an insult to my intelligence, they are dumb as fok and most are foking lies, some of the reasons why I cut cable and stop watching the foking TV and radio too. You tube is rich they don't need more revenues from stupid ads that no one looks at anyways, ads after ads yeah fok them, I'm done!

The people who did this over at YouTube are absolute idiots. This will destroy Advertiser CTR, and these new solutions create false impressions. Advertisers now get a lot of their money wasted. And, considering most likely around a fourth of all YouTube users used Adblock, these users (like myself) watch significantly less YouTube now, which hurts their analytics and by extension their investors.
I swear this was decided by business majors who have no idea what they're doing.
