Fedora Asahi Remix and Ubuntu Asahi Linux
Hopefully Sound this time. I was using OBS before, now I’m using Quick Time. I tried Fedora Remix and Ubuntu Asahi. Ubuntu seems to be way behind in features. The Touch Bar did not work in Ubuntu. No of the Asahi had a working built-in mic. Audio did work in all but Fedora KDE. Without being able to use Zoom and the like, it’s not ready for prime time yet for me. Some of this is just that the software is not available for ARM yet in a lot of areas. ALSO!!! I installed and removed these platforms about 8 times, and on the last removal it screwed my Mac up. I had to reinstall Sonoma, which took about 2 hours. Luckily, my apps on my Mac were still there.
