Fix EA Origin Download Problem On Ubuntu 14.04 with PlayOnLinux

A guide on fixing the download problem and slow speeds with EA’s Origin in Wine, on Ubuntu with PlayOnLinux.
Subtitles have been added. Please enable captions and then select English( United Kingdom ). I hope that will help those of you who do not speak English natively.
Note that this video can also be used as a guide for other Linux distributions, as long as you have PlayOnLinux 4.1.8 or newer.
The steps taken in this video should allow you to download games in Origin, and download them at the normal Internet speeds your ISP provides you. Please DO NOT use wine 1.5.28-Origin, as it does not work with this patch.

Step by step:
1. Make sure you have Origin installed in PlayOnLinux, with the latest Wine. Video guide for that can be found here:
2. Download the patch, get it from here:

3. Right click Origin in POL, and open the Application’s Directory.
4. Drag the patch file into the Origin folder.
5. Open a new Terminal.
6. Type cd and then hit space. Drag the Origin folder into the terminal, and hit Enter.
7. Copy and paste the command from WineHQ into the Terminal, and hit Enter.
8. You’re Done! Run Origin now to see the results.
