Fix Error – ‘You have been logged on with a temporary profile’ in Windows 7

1. Prepare

– DC1 : Domain Controller(Yi.vn)

– WIN71 : Client. When HiepIT account logon get message : You have been logged on with a temporary profile

‘You cannot access your files and files created in this profile will be deleted when you log off.

To fix this, log off and try logging on later. Please see the event log for details or contact your system administrator’

2. Step by step : Fix Error

– WIN71 : Logon using YiHiepIT account === Get error

+ Create files named report01.txt, report02.txt – log off – log on === Files deleted

+ Log on using .Hiep71 account (Local Administrator)

+ Start – regedit – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – SOFTWARE – Microsoft – Windows NT – CurrentVersion – ProfileList

– Delete folder has Value data : C:UsersHiepIT – Log off

+ log on using YiHiepIT account === No message error

+ Create files named report01, report02 – log off – log on === Files had not deleted === OK
