Fix svchost.exe using high memory in Windows 7, 8 and 10

To fix high usage of CPU / Memory by svchost.exe please follow these methods:
Method 1:
Open ‘services’ in your system – open the ‘Windows Update’ service – set its startup type as ‘Disabled’ – click ‘Apply’ – ‘ Stop’ – ‘OK’. Restart your PC.
Method 2:
Open ‘Resource Monitor’ – click on ‘CPU’ – select all or any process starting with svchost.exe. In the field under ‘Associated Handles’ right click on any process and select ‘End Process’. Restart you computer.
