Fix the Car Again Sale Freebies
I just cannot win with my car lately. 🤦♀️ Mind you, it has been great up until now and despite being 11 years old, is pretty low mileage, with a great deal of it being highway mileage. Anyways, back in June I did a sale because I needed a rather expensive repair on the rear end that is common on Jeeps. When it came time for my friend to fix it, he found more wrong that definitely had to be replaced at the same time. Once that was done, the battery decided to show its age and needed replacing. I finally got back to running deliveries this past weekend only for the AC compressor to start making loud noises. 😫 So now I’m faced with getting that fixed because going without AC is not an option for me. In case you aren’t aware, I have severe asthma (another frustration as of late, but I’ll spare you the details) which is frequently triggered by my allergies. Well, since I’m allergic to nearly everything outside (most trees, all the grasses, all weeds, etc), I cannot go driving around with the windows down for long periods. Never mind the fact that this summer has been brutally hot and is not good for anyone to be out in for too long.
So here we are again needing more repairs… and this time it’s not just a costly part, but also labor cost because my friend can’t do it since he doesn’t have what is needed to vacuum the AC system out.
