  • Great guitar intro music,very cool. I havent gone to ms for their formerly w7 supported fix it's for this,as MS don't have 'fixit's for other 7 hassles anymore its 100% win 10 which with audio recording,I really really DON'T need the plugins devices not having drivers etc etc agrivation,I'm im Australia,and we are the 1st country for some kind of speedy internet,but I just cannot relay ANYTHING negtive about it or I'm further connectivity punished possibly?

    This is a 2 yr old video so chances are u won't get back to me but it doesn't hurt to try. I have a Dell computer with Window 7, 64 bits. I followed all your steps and was able to find and download the tool and restarted computer. My updates STILL fail to update! What else can I do? ANYBODY?

  • =( For me a EMERGENCY — I Went to Start menu, found accidently " eMachine" clicked, a driop down , i then saw UPDATE , Now i'm terrified, no idea what ive done and see no way out or if its dangerous at all to stay or go,, ,,, to scare me even more after a long time , no idea how long, lost reasoning it seems, i opened it by right click ( i think ) pop up box showing serttings of sorts, my memories horrible,,, true,, sadly true,,,
    i noticed the word compatibility and it was not saying windows 7 which i have ( maybe didn't as its 2nd hand computer) so a scary click revealed a drop down box where i saw windows 7 and i switched to it,,,
    now that was while this little blue ball is and was already spinning to the right on my task bar , i was only looking for a way to stop it till i could get some information , it was daft of me to go ahead but it seems i am getting descencitised to fearing my computer ONLY TO RIGHT AFTER TRYING SOMETHING ( Usually only after hours of reading ,researching ) GETTING TERRIFIED, I HAVE NO PHONE ANY LONGER AND THE COMPUTERS MY BABY, My ONLY Connection to the outside world while im at home ( most always isolated , health )

    Also why i am TRYING Every day to figure things out , The fear of loosing connection to the thing that educates,entertains, Connects
    voice or video etc- list too long to type

    SO HAVE I DAMAGED IT, CAN I LEAVE IT RUN AND GO OUT , OR CAN IT BE STOPPED WITHOUT HURTING THE COMPUTER , SHOULD I ,, SHOULD I ,,, DID I REALLY MESS UP SWITCHING CONTROLS FROM What i think said windows xp under "compatibility " to windows 7 which i have , in the middle or WHATEVER IT'S DOING ? ? ?

  • I JUST Downloaded the wndows trouble shooter , the wizard , when i click to run it a window appears saying its from an unknown publisher am i sure i want to continue ,, with the choices of yes or no but the no is already pre lit while the yes button is not,, wondering why i got a download from an unknown publisher when i clicked the link provided shows its from microsoft All which was started by clicking the link i had showed you previously and which in a comment you advised i go there ? what do i do now ?

    Hello Again Your Channel / YOU Are totally an inspiration , thou i still havent managed to improve my computer with a score rating of 3.5 LOW & NOT GOOD It hasn't completed an update now in over a year,

    PRAYING YOU Can HELP Me Solve this problem BUT I DO HAVE GOOD NEWS TO SHARE ,,,,, i managed to get ALL My Bookmarks back but not in any way i'd have expected Since i'm unsure of the rules and respect for you i'll leave it for now as i'm just sharing My Good News , it was unexpected and the easiest way possible i imagine !
    i am thrilled, Had i not found you i'd lost interest or never got around to doing anything, Most likely i'd have given up BUT I Can't forget cause i remember You & your channel which helps me a lot to keep interested ,
    Not sure that makes sense as often whats in my head doesn't come out the same in type BOTTOM LINE I AM THRILLED !!!!!

    P.s Only because i commented was i able to refind your video,
    Sadly , i dont know what i must have done prior to restarting my computer today Starting it as i was on my way out BUT I Came home in horror , No idea what had happened ALL MY BOOKMARKS & FAVORITES I'D Saved MANY VERY IMPORTANT Were all deleted or at least they were gone ,
    i think i had windows 7preminum or ultimate and im not !00% sure of that but if my memory is right it looks like it changed to windows 7 home now , I Know that has nothing to do with this but thought worth mentioning, in case it makes a difference fixing the update problem which MAYBE Isnt the same error code now ? i know almost nothing about computer but have no other way to fix anything other than try myself after a year of waiting for that friend whos obviously never keeping his word to come help,,,
    Honestly im sick of trying to fix it knowing nothing as the computers my anxiety / stress relief tool ,

    P.S 2 I Did check to see what if any updates were installed on the restarting and which ones were listed all said FAILED so obviously whatever changed making me lose all my bookmarks also did nothing to help the update problem i been having forever now ,

    any advice on either issue would be HUGELY APPRECIATED

    is there a way to get my bookmarks back ? a friend did offer some tips ,walking me thru searching for a file they may have been automatically stored in but we didnt find what he was looking for AFTER THAT THOU I Do remember reading someones comments on the topic of lost bookmarks saying they found theres in the c harddrive somehow AND APPARENTLY I Had NO RESTORE Points on my computer =( i had no idea i was supposed to put one on ,the computer was 2nd hand and i assumed i didnt have to set restore points — oh i am using google crome if that helps

    just like me to have a 2nd problem ( bookmarks disappear ) when trying to fix the huge problem of no updates updating in a VERY LONG Time , if helping me is too much to ask i wont be any worse off than before asking except for wasting your time and mine with this message,,, — and my excitement when i first watched your video, you explain so wonderfully
    last P.S – All my prior updates going back a year perhaps ,this most recent attempt to update a few days ago was THE 1ST TIME I Ever got an error code, all others just failed so it was nice to finally see an error code,, THANKS For Your time & patience reading this,,

  • If you're getting an error message that Windows Update can't update because the program isn't running, etc., the following procedure worked for me on my Toshiba Satellite L5050-S5983 laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit: Start Menu – Control Panel – Type t in Search Box on far right – Click on Heading that says Troubleshooting – Under heading that says System & Security, click on Fix Problems With Windows Update – Click on Next & let it find & fix problems.
