The enterprise-grade FLEX24-10G layer 3 managed switch outperforms leading providers, eliminating distance and cable barriers. The FLEX24-10G switch delivers gigabit speed to standard Ethernet reach and 10/100 megabits per second, symmetrical, to 2,000 feet (610 meters) with up to 50 watts of power per port. That means higher speeds, greater distance, and more power available to support the most demanding IP endpoints with plenty of bandwidth to spare.
As the most versatile PoE switch on the market, the FLEX24-10G features include Layer 3 routing, 802.1x Port-Based Authentication, Access Control Lists, a Cisco-like command-line interface, an advanced GUI, protocol-based VLANs, LLDP-MED, QoS, and more – providing seamless integration into your overall network.
The FLEX24-10G switch enables any IP or IoT device over 1, 2, or 4 pair UTP cabling, providing the greatest flexibility for any new or retrofit environment. The FLEX24-10G also comes equipped with a 1000-watt power supply that is hot-swappable, remote power management by port with power consumption statistics available, and power redundancy to ensure uptime.
Modernizing to IP is simple and is accomplished in three easy steps.
– First, connect the FLEX24-10G switch to the IP application via the uplink ports.
– Next, connect the new or existing infrastructure to the downlink ports of the switch.
– Lastly, if the endpoint is within standard reach – connect directly to the endpoint.
For extended reach, connect a FLEX-Link or FLEX-C adapter at the endpoint location, which can be up to 2,000 feet from the FLEX24-10G switch. Enable up to 4 IP endpoints from a single long run cable with the FLEX4 adapter. Endpoints can be up to 328 feet (100 meters) from the adapter.
