Download Foxit PDF reader first from this link
https://www.foxit.com/pdf-reader/
Open terminal and Navigate to the Downloads directory
cd ~/Downloads
Execute the following command to extract the tar.gz archive.
tar xzvf yourDownloadedFileName*.tar.gz
Grant execute permission by running the below command.
sudo chmod a+x yourDownloadedFileName*.run
To install it in system-wide mode, execute the .run file with root privileges.
sudo ./yourDownloadedFileName*.run
