Free Cisco Virtual Lab
The Cisco Packet Tracer is a free, virtualized lab environment. You can create limitless combinations of network topologies without the need to spend huge amounts of money on hardware. Not to mention the space you need to house it all!
For anyone considering learning more about networking or a Cisco professional career path, this is a great place to start because it’s free to download and use. However, you must enroll in the Cisco Networking Academy (which is free).
Take your Cisco lab with you on the road, on vacation, practice in your car, in the hotel. You don’t even need an Internet connection to use it!
Another cool aspect is that you can save lab setups as files. So, unlike your physical lab, you don’t need to tear down and reconfig the lab topology every time you want to work on a new configuration.
