GL iNet X750 Spitz 4G LTE Router install on SV Apres – Tech Ep8
In this episode we walk through the install of a GL.iNet X750 Spitz 4G LTE Router on my Hunter 336 Sailboat Après. I previously had another GL.iNet Product installed – the GL-AR750 and that was great, apart from the fact that I had trouble tethering the iPhone to it to provide internet to the boat and Openplotter. This issue is more to do with the iPhone than the router but I decided I would buy a different version that has the 4G LTE connection built in. The Spitz also has 2 large antennas for LTE signals and an internal antenna for WiFi.

I wonder if it's going work with Ipad and gaming?
How do you set up the Wi-Fi card/ sim installed in the router. I need to change the TTL but trying to find the settings for it
New subscriber here … Liking the videos. Kudos. I just got my first boat and it needs a nav system. I have a few RPi4's to play with. I'm gong to DIY my nav with openCPN and RPi. Thank you!
I have this and i was wondering with this method that your doing would it be possible to power the router with a portable power bank.
GL-iNet makes great little routers. I use a mango for my home network. It repeats my phone's hotspot.
Its something we need to think about – Especially helpful for the Pi
Thanks for the video. I have that same router, works great with my pi4
