  • Hi brother which of your video should I watch to learn more about coding and more beginners staff

  • No thanks I'll stick to public AP's & TOR (or VPN+TOR).

  • It does sound like the Onion network. Since VPNs send encrypted traffic and proxies only forward though, what would be a good usage of a proxy, assuming you want your traffic to stay encrypted?

  • Is shadowsocks encryption faster than using a VPN ?
Cause you said you have the best of both worlds, proxie and VPN

  • Proxies are mainly used for accessing geo locked data so geoip proxy will not be used by many. Proxies are specifically distributed to brake the law. They have nothing to do with security nor anonimity nor privacy as the majority are run by the government and people fishing for idiots that deserve to be fucked cuz they is stupid. 🙂

  • The immediate and obvious question is "what does Google get from this?". When a service is free, you're the product, not the customer.

  • Maybe am off the deep end but its weird that companies are becoming "more private" with all the wars.. going on

  • Great video! Just a quick question: can you also unblock different streaming libraries using this? Netflix, Amazon…?

  • Only a single though. No trust, until it is demonstrated by a third unpaid party that it does what it says it does.

  • what a load of bull. IP address tracking is the least of your concerns. Cookies, browser id, phone/device id data is far more dangerous.

  • Hey thanks for the video! I would love a setup where my router or routers can broadcast various networks that connect to a different country. So when I connect I don't have to do anything on my laptop or phone. Is there anyway to have a setup like that? Thanks!

  • Question .. How is having a remote VM proxy, that you always use, different – in terms of you could be identified by your own local breakout dynamic IP or by the proxy dynamic IP ? … assuming they are both best-case dynamic ?

  • Google never introduce anything that doesn't benefit Google.

  • i would NEVER use "the private data collectors" as a proxy where ALL my browsing data flows through their AI readers.
And, you can bet your bottom dollar, they are going to do that.
Bad enough I use Chrome sometimes.

  • its all fun and games until google start charging for each search (Post / Get)

  • Seems pretty interesting, through having to purchase a proxy Linux server from linode seems to still present privacy issues and create a point of compromise, is there a way to create a low cost proxy server without the use of an external provider? Obviously hosting a Linux machine on your own network would be pretty redundant.

  • We have now reached the point where I’ll call Google Chrome Spyware.

  • Is it me or does everyone talking about man in the middle attacks forget how HTTPS works? Not even Google can snoop in. They just want a stronger iron fist over advertisers. They know your IP, but the 3rd party advertisers do not.

  • Why do you keep recommending Linode ? Linode frequently won't let a new user create an account. They cancel new registrations with an email stating; "Your recently created account has been denied activation due to activity or patterns associated with fraudulent behavior." Check out their subreddit and you'll see multiple posts on this issue. I tried twice and that's enough to convince me there is something very wrong with this company. No amount of coffee will change poor management.

  • Think I just got whiplash from all the sudden camera angle changes

  • Wouldn't this also give Google Ads a competitive adcantage?

  • I always think it’s funny when people say Google follows the law, which they don’t. I also think these approaches are a false sense of security when it comes to real privacy.

  • know any alternatives to Akamai? Akamai said I'm banned from joining even though I've never heard of the site before your video.

  • Google/Youtube is the biggest Scam ever forced on the world, they make the SS, CIA, KGB, MI6 look like toddlers, it is carefully engineered in the shape of a funnel, slowly but sorely they are gaining full control over your everyday life. Everything is engineered to circle around a single point of failure, not their failure, our failure, they can shut everything down, every app you own, shut you out of all websites that you use google to sign in with. It is time for us to create our own Internet, I am a Network Architect and it is extremely easy to do, so easy that it is laughable. Russia threatened to do it a few years back and North Korea (Yes I know) and China has done it, The onion is a very primitive version of it. With a new network, the strangle hold is over, and don't end with 1 network, since we at it, create 10 more. Forgot to mention, Corporate networks are exactly that, a private internet

  • I'd recommend specifying the bind_address with -D.
    (-D [bind_address:]port)

    From the man page:
The bind_address of “localhost'' indicates that the listening port be bound for local use only, while an empty address or `*' indicates that the port should be available from all interfaces.

Which sounds like it binds to all interfaces by default. This would not be good. That way if you're connected to public network, you just exposed the SOCKS proxy to it. Not only does it allow people to use it freely for internet access, but it also allows access to LAN and localhost, which may be dangerous.

  • i love the way the password just says furryforlife
