  • Ubuntu is not Linux, Ubuntu is a distro of Linux. There are 100's of distro of Linux, you can create your own too. Best distro for beginners and ease users is Linux Mint, Pop OS and for advanced user Arch Linux is best.

  • Try Windows Subsystem for Linux. This is for those who can’t ditch Windows but want the advantage of using Linux distro. I’m using my WSL as a dev environment and Windows for games, browsing, editing etc. Overall, you get the best of both worlds.
