Tip for Advanced Users: If you are remoting into a Windows PC, but the remote computer's GUI freezes and you can't even get the Ctrl+Alt+Delete screen to come up, you might be able to send this same 'force restart' command via commandline. Like using PSExec or Powershell Remoting. You could also first try the regular restart command to see if Windows will do that safely, then resort to the hard reset if necessary. You'd have to figure out the details yourself but it seems possible – you can read more about how the "emergency restart" feature works behind the scenes here: https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/34194/Performing-emergency-shutdowns
Wait will this delete the files on the pc
I have broblem after i do this my screen say no bootable device press any key😢 pls help
The computer be like: CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES THIS IS MY LAST RESORT 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Fun fact:It was before called "Emergency Shutdown"
I was about to say u have a restart button on my pc
im an RPi user and i just rip the power after 5 min
you got me fucked up if you think i can move my mouse by one pixel if my pc is frozen.
thanks i could not resart because auto clicker would not stop
i actually found out abt this accidentally. one time my hand was touching the control key while i was doing that.
Been having trubles as of late; this info is very useful, thanks. I hate having to force powerdown the PC because I know that it does more harm than good.
My computer is frozen and its still not working..
Oooh why i dont did know that in school 😦🏫
Oh my pc only responds to physical resets lmao. By slamming that mf
Bruh if my computer is stuck, i won't be able to click the power button and you are going for emergency restart🫡
I just subscrib you bcz of this video
Yeah this works except when the pc is that frozen that it cant even start „ctrl, alt, delete“
If it's frozen then how you gonna do this
What does it do differently though? And whybis it better than regular restart? And what happens if I don't use it as a last resort? Is there some telemetry Microsoft can only collect via regular restart and emergency restart bypasses this?
