• I am starting from July following your guideline. I completed my CompTIA Sec+ however my career started in Software Manual Testing and Test Automation due to many other responsibilities and now really want to step into Cyber position.

  I only have a question now before I make my final switch- now I am more prone and looking toward a non coding IT job- keeping that in mind should I pick SEO(digital marketing niche), or Data Analysis or Cyber Security – this will be last switch and permanent and right now I am over 30 so need to choose wisely. Any advice is welcome, I want to go self employed through freelancing platform in future.

• I bet on the wrong horse… 2 years and thousands of dollars wasted chasing after a bunch of certs and applying to hundreds of insta-reject jobs.

  Maybe this time it’ll be different, with the less than year I have left to make anything of myself.

Do you think we have to choose on what topics, that are more practical and relevant to the work place, to spend more of our time as aspiring cybersecurity students?? Like there are so many tools to work with, so is it wise to study mostly the most known tools?? Thanks!
