  • There are some incredibly incorrect information in here. Skype didnt store any IP-adresses, why your IP was compromised was due to skype being peer to peer without any form of relay to mask the IP between the clients, thus once you make a call to someone you make a direct connection to them. Skype wasn't alone with this issue. Steam had the same issue and was probably worse as you could call anyone who wasn't on your friendlist 🙂 Just sniff all packages coming in and being sent out, no "skyperesolver" needed. Wireshark is all you need 🙂 A DDoS attack isnt something any typical person can accomplish, a DoS attack is easier though. Low orbit Ion Cannon is a DoS tool used to send traffic to a specific ip/protocol and therefore try to take all bandwidth of the target.
