• For a Intel/PowerPC Mac hold Option (alt) when you hear the boot chime or hear the disc drive
  For a M1 Mac hold the power button.

  (Your computer must be turned off)

• -does not help so much when it is the bios I cannot get into because I have no password and the dve is supposed to crack that password but I cannot get it to boo from it thus leaving the bios password removal tool useless and now so its the computer . as well as this tutorial that I was sent to learn how to boot from the DVD to get past that password oh well the loop of life and the internet

• Hi I’ve changed the settings to boot from the disk but it’s not working? And the software I pressed previous was the wrong one it should be windows vista premium not windows vista basic so I can’t even get into my laptop? Any help how I do a boot making sure it reads the disk? Or a way to start the computer using the right software

• Thank for posting your video. I notie – for some reason that doesn't seem to work if you have a password locked hard drive, it defaults to the HD rather than follows this BIOS Boot Rule.
