Video details:
In this video, I walk through changing the IP address on one of my domain controllers. I changed the IP address from 192.168.100.11 to 192.168.100.15. The steps to changing the IP are very simple, but you must spend some time going through a checklist before making changes to production domain controllers. If you are changing subnets then there may be additional steps such as updating DHCP servers and relay agents on routers.

Domain controllers are a critical service and you don’t want them to have issues or you will have a bad bad day. In my checklist I provide several steps to go through before and after changing IP addresses.
