How to change the MAC address on a Lenovo A369i
Addendum: In case you’re unable to boot into meta mode upon flashing the MAC address, you need to uncheck the Quick Boot option on your phone before powering it off.
It does work on most other Mediatek devices, too. This also solves the phantom access point “NVRAM WARNING: ERR = 0x10” that shows up due to a missing or invalid address.
In case you’re getting driver problems, you need to install the CDC driver, which I included in the linked package. Also, you need to have a copy of the stock firmware files, which can be downloaded at the link below.
