  • Does the target host have to be a file? I have a dns server to which I would like to have add a cname record where the target is another website not located on the same server, how do I do this?
I don't have a static ip. I just have a domain name of the target website.

  • Thank you so much for the content Mr. McMillen! Currently study for A+ and Helpdesk role. This really helped me clear some things up.
