• If anyone is having an issues with Installation Make sure these things are disabled to make dual boot successful ..
  Disable fastboot, Windows 11 bit locker, Intel Rapid Storage Technology and try.

• Trying to install Kubuntu 23.10 on an NVMe with Windows 11 installed, UEFI mode. The Ubuntu installer doesn't see the Windows 11 installation and wants to use the entire disk. It never shows the screen at 6:31. Can I manually select an empty 3T partition on the same drive and install there? Will GRUB see the Windows 11 installation? I have disabled fastboot, bit locker is not active and there is no IRST on my machine.

• It says that the size of my free space is 1 MB, even tho I have an external HDD connected via usb. Is there a way to solve this issue?

But the issue is that I have not been able to load the ubuntu since then, I have tried several tutorials online, but still the boot manager only shows windows and not ubuntu. I even check the bios boot menu and changed the order to having ubuntu first, but it kept on loading windows

• There are other .efi files in the x:EFIBoot directory. Do I have to delete them too? I think they are linked to the linux distro I installed but I don't want to mess up my bootloader

  I am Windows 10 user and I would like to dual boot my Laptop which only uses HDD

  There's a problem in the process, while installing ubuntu, after connecting wireless network it throws an error to turn off Intel RST.
  But when I turn it off my Windows asks me to restore to a restore point or reset windows

  Can you please find me solution !!

• I followed all of these instructions and at the 10 minute mark of the video, when my computer was restarting I got these error messages

  I then had to hold the power button to hard restart but when the computer turned back on, everything was working and ubuntu was installed and everything seems fine. Do you know what these messages are?

• This is pretty good, except the recommendation to make separate / and /home partitions. That's not necessary and just sets you up for running out of space on one of them earlier than if you had used a single partition. Also I'd go for 20 gb swap. 14 gb could be too small.

• Hello I wanted to install Linux Mint, which is based on Ubuntu, on a separate disk, but I get the RST error, my question here is, if in the BIOS I change RAID to AHCI to install Mint and after Mint is installed I return in the BIOS to place RAID, is there going to be any problem?

• Why not just direct use WSL or WSL 2 ? they already include in Windows 11 and Windows 10
