• Thanks man, used ubuntu virtual box, then wsl, but never wanted to remove windows completely because I use vscode and visual studio 2022 which is only on windows. So I could enjoy the . NET framework on windows and be productive on linux

• Good video, However do more research before removing Ubuntu. The Ubuntu boot loader takes precedence over the windows so following this step without enabling windows bootloader might brick your system. Speaking form experience

• if i'm changing RST to HCAI then linux is works and window is not openning and if turn on RST then window works but linux is not working what i need to do

• This step (3:00) – creating a hard-disk partition for Ubuntu to use – can be skipped (for Ubuntu 22.04.3 – not sure about older versions). After you select 'Install Ubuntu along Windows', the Ubuntu installer gives you the option of setting how much hard-disk space Ubuntu should take from your existing available hard-disk memory. It might be simpler and a lot safer than manually messing around with your "C:" drive yourself👍

• Thank you. Installed Ubuntu 22.04.3 to dual boot with Windows 11 Home on HP ENVY Laptop. I had to disable Device Encryption in Windows before Ubuntu would install. All working as expected but what would happen to Ubuntu if Device Encryption was enabled again in Windows after installing Ubuntu?
