How To Enable NumLock for Windows login on Windows 7, 8, & 10 for Windows PIN Login [SOLVED]

Don’t you hate it when you have to click the NumLock button on your laptop before you can login to Windows? Here’s a quick tip to fix that for you!

Simply open Regedit in Windows, navigate to HKEY_USERS.DefaultControl PanelKeyboard

and change the value from “2” to “2147483650”

If you want, you can create a .bat file and use the following code to do it for you:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_USERS.DefaultControl PanelKeyboard]
“InitialKeyboardIndicators”=”2147483650”
