How To Find Out the IP Address of an Omron PLC
This video will illustrate how to find out the IP address of the PLC that you’re talking to. Omron has a utility called middleware utility. So this is how to do it. So you want to look for the middleware utility, you want to launch the network browser whether you have direct connection or through a hub. Right now i connect to the PLC directly so i’m going to select the direct ethernet connection and click browse. And there you go now it shows the IP address of the PLC I’m connected to is the 192.168.250.1.
