To Fix Audio Sound Not Working Problem in Windows 10 , please try one of these methods:

Please right click on the start menu and open ‘Device Manager’- locate the driver called “Sound, video and game controllers” – Expand it – Right click on your sound card and click on “Update Driver Software”. Click on the first option and let Windows check for the latest updates for your driver.
If there is no any update, return to previous window and click on the second option – Browse my computer for driver software. In the next window, please click on “Let me pick from the list of…… After selecting your sound device model, please click on “Next”. Click “Yes” of the warning box. And now check whether the problem has been fixed. If it still exists, once again, click on the sound card and then select “uninstall”. Click “Ok” to confirm. Now, restart your computer and after restarting, the problem should be fixed.
If this first method couldn’t help you, try this second method.

Right click on the sound icon on the taskbar and then click on “Playback devices”. Under the “Playback” tab, select your speaker device and then click on “Properties”. Click on the third tab “Enhancements”. Put checkmark in the box towards “Disable all enhancements”. And then click on “Preview”. If it the sound works, then click on “Apply” and then on “Ok”. If the problem still exists, then once again open the properties of your sound device. And now go to the last tab “Advanced”. Under “Default Format”, select a highest bit depth mode from the dropdown list. Now click on “Test” and check whether it works. If it works, click on “Apply” and then on “OK”. If this also didn’t work, then please click on “Configure”. After selecting an audio channel, click on “Next”. Then, checkmark the box towards “Front left and right”. And then click on “Next”. And click on “Finish”. Now your problem should be fixed.
