Didnβt work
Does not work for me. I installed every package successfuly (had to use "apt-get update" and then the apt install one) but CTRL+C and CTRL+V still do nothing

I simply enabled a shared folder (Player > Manage > Virtual Machine Settings > Options > Shared Folders > Always Enabled) and text copy/paste from WIndows also got enabled after a reboot.
it says is not in the suders file. this incident will be reported.

I'm able to copy paste txt files but unable to cp tar.gz files?
Any solution would be really helpful.
It's sad though that you can't copy paste files but online like lines of text.
But that for sure is just something about ubuntu.
