• Worked for me, made my laptop in general faster.

  I did leave the option "Smooth edges of screen fonts", since I dont think that takes much performance and the text is much easier to read.

• For those who have tried all these turn this off and turn that off videos and still have the issue, i was the same, i downloaded malwarebytes and turned out i had a malware issue that was causing DWM to hogg my gpu. Now everything works fine

• Thank you this seems to have fixed it it was spiking up to 100% GPU usage every few minutes and causing my frame rate in games and even my mouse on desktop to lag. I’m using a RTX 2060.
