  • I can boot into Win 7 x 64 but from a cold start, the computer comes on for a few seconds with the fans spinning then shuts off for about 10 seconds. After that it boots up. Also after I get to my desktop, some of the programs won't load when clicked or else they tend to load slowly. Is this a malfunctioning PSU problem?

  • My laptop dont show safe mod or anything that it just go to the Starting Windows pls help me!

  • I found this quite helpful.. even if it didn't solve my issue. I had done all of your steps before I found your video except the command prompt because I wasn't sure what to do there. Weird thing was the Startup Repair and Chkdsk said they couldn't find any errors. I was able to get most of my important data off my C drive by inserting it into an external case and connected it to my laptop to pull off my data. I tried to put on a new Windows 7, but for some reason it was unsuccessful, so I formatted the disk and will use as a D drive. I had purchased a new larger HDD just before this one was corrupted (or whatever its issue was), but wanted to back everything up before making a switch. The only thing I lost were my handbrake presets (I can't find the same version I had on C, so they won't work in the newer versions)… I should've written them down. Duh! Thanks for the video.
