HOW TO: Fix Windows 8 Credentials Login Issue to Connect WINCE 5.0 in TPC-66, Advantech(EN)

Dr. ADAM is fixing Windows 7 NTLMv2 Secure Authentication method to connect into Windows CE 5.0 Remote Management Tool inside Advantech TPC-66 (5.7″ QVGA TFT LCD XScale PXA270 Touch Panel Computer).

Update following Registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetControlLsaLMCompatibilityLevel
With value 0-2.

LM Compatibility Leve values:
0-2. Clients use LM and NTLM authentication.
3-5. Clients use only NTLMv2 authentication.
Windows 8 has default forced NTLMV2, then windows security popup won’t remotely sign-in using right user and password.
