How to fix Windows Backup error code 0x81000031 / Check your backup (Important)
While backup in progress, i have disconnected the external hard drive where backups are saved. So, i am getting the ‘Check your backup’ error: Windows Backup failed while determining libraries location of one of the users included in backup.
Details: The system cannot find the file specified.
Error code: 0x81000031
Suggestion: Don’t disconnect the drive where your backups are saved. If you have used external hard drive for Windows Backup. Then you should connect the drive whenever you are running the Windows Backup. Otherwise change the settings to store backup on the computer itself.
