Why would you add user to sudo group if it is just same as calling "sudo sth" function? I thought there would be sth like not typing password but there is no difference…
I did what you said here on RHEL, but an error occurred saying that the user is not in sudoer file.
Hi Tone. After you added the user to the sudoer group, and the user used sudo before a command what password is he supposed to enter?
In other words, what password did you enter after sudo whoami.
This didn’t work when I type exit it closes my whole terminal and still says I’m not in the sudoers list

When I type in whoami it says the user is root. Does that mean I gave all my root privileges to this user?
