i now recommend that you use the UDP config file installed. It might be a bit tedious if you want to have different countries, but running an VPN executable in the background seems more troublesome: https://protonvpn.com/support/vpn-config-download/
very misleading, protonvpn only works with systemd init system while there are (surprise surprise) many different init systems availible which arent supported by this vpn.
Cool beans!
better to just download the gui application for linux, theres also multiple free servers available without subscription. Much easier to use, dont have to keep terminal open
Its better you can also install the proton app and can change vpn servers…
If you are in KDE then you will need to make allow always when promped and then you can use it as same in Windows…
So this is the harder process and Proton VPN always lacks up-time in servers so that is more had to keep saving server…and run it through terminal…
Hope this helps you…😅
Thank you this worked perfectly
I think UDP is for wireless not for faster service
thanks for your video.
Is there a way that after reboot it auto-starts and auto-connects like on Debian? For now I need to start it manually after each reboot. Is there somewhere to check the options auto-start and auto-connect?
you earned a subscribe
thank you still works 2023
what the sound when something processing in terminal
I am getting show info about default gate way what to do now I didn't password or anything in terminal
It was really helpfull thanks man but I have a question: should use openvpn command everytime for resstarting
Thank you bro very helpful video
Thank you so much! But I have a question. Is it normal if my wifi on LInux doesnt works after I ended the vpn session, even if i am connected with the wifi. I tried to ping google. com and it didnt work, but pinging googles Dns server works. Anyways i fixed the problem. But the question remains, if this was only a coincidence or does this problem accure after every vpn session? However this was a great tutorial and keep it up! Good job well done.
WHICH DISTRO YOU USE?IT LOOKS COOL.
Thanks
how do you restart the vpn after turning it off
Doesn’t work
do you have to start the vpn every time you want it on and if so how?
