Active Directory Domain Services provides a database which is distributed around the Domain Controller, It stores and
manages information of network resources and application-specific data from directory-enabled applications. A server which is running AD DS is known Domain Controller ( DC ).

This video is a step by step guide demonstrating how to install and configure Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) on a Windows 2012 Server to create a Domain Controller. A Domain Controller allows a network to be managed centrally from a single secure location.
