OpenShift is a platform from Redhat/IBM to run containerized applications. It is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) used for fast deployment of cloud applications, development workflows management, automates the installation, and enhances the DevOps process.
📌 OKD ⯮ is an open-source, community edition of Red Hat’s OpenShift container management and orchestration platform based on Docker 🐋 and Kubernetes.
📌 OCP ⯮ OpenShif Container Platform, an enterprise edition, is a consistent hybrid cloud foundation for building and scaling containerized applications.
There are two ways in which we can deploy it on OCP
⚫ Managed OpenShift
⚫ UnManaged OpenShift (Do it Yourself)
📚 Theoretical knowledge is good, but until and unless you perform yourself, you won’t learn things. Therefore, we have specially prepared step-by-step instructions on installing and deploying OpenShift to provide you with every minute detail.
You will learn the two most important things in this video that are:
➥Various Option of OpenShift Installation
➥Deployment of OpenShift Cluster on AWS

Hi @K21Academy, we tried creating cluster but my installation stuck at "INFO Creating infrastructure resources…" since last 50 minutes. Also i am facing several warnings like
"INFO Credentials loaded from the "default" profile in file "/root/.aws/credentials"
WARNING failed to find default instance type: no instance type found for the zone constraint
WARNING failed to find default instance type for worker pool: no instance type found for the zone constraint
INFO Consuming Install Config from target directory
WARNING Following quotas ec2/L-0263D0A3 (us-east-1) are available but will be completely used pretty soon.
INFO Creating infrastructure resources…"
Can u suggest something.
Since freenom is not accessible now a days and i tried multiple free domain registration sites but not able to get domain name. Could your team please suggest us on domain registration other than freenom site.
freenom is not working is there any other alternate
Awesome and very direct tutorial. The only thing I did was specified 3 zones since now us-east-2 now has more than 5 AZs.
I have successfully deployed openshift in existing VPC with a single user and restricted permission. If any one need help, ping me.
FATAL failed to fetch Cluster: failed to fetch dependency of "Cluster": failed to generate asset "Platform Quota Check": error(MissingQuota): ec2/L-1216C47A is not available in us-east-2 because the required number of resources (24) is more than the limit of 5
Excellent Tutorial
Nicely Described. Thanks
You have done a great job. Very nicely covered and explained.
Thank you very much for this wonderful video , could you please help me with one resolution ? when i modify the install-config.yaml. file and when i hit the create cluster command , the file disappears and throw me an error of quota of EC2 – saying requested quota is 8 and eligible is 5. i am damn sure about the replica which set to 1 . could you please help me with the resolution?
Excellent tutorial 👌
While OpenShift cluster is being provisioned it uses terraform file for cluster creation in backend. Where does this terraform is stored
Can u share the notes files
Excellent tutorial, I managed to do everything. Much appreciated.
I would only need to be able to connect to the nodes of the Cluster, (master, worker to install a third-party monitoring system, but it does not work for me "The instance does not have a public IPv4 address
To connect using the browser-based client for the EC2 instance connection, the instance must have a public IPv4 address. "
Can you help me please.
I love it, is there video for local laptop installations over windows 10?
Are you sure this is UPI ? or was it IPI ?
Good
