How To Install Kali Linux on Hyper-V | Kali Linux Hyper V

In this video, I will walk you through the steps to install Kali Linux on HyperV on a Windows 10 PC. Using Hyper-V is a good option for many Windows 10 users because it’s already builtin into the operating system, and you just need to enable the feature. There are a few quick steps to get up and running, and I will walk you through the steps.

  • Thank you very much. That was awesome. Could you please tell me how to install the Owasp-bwa on Hyper-V. I completed the installation the owasp-bwa on Hyper-V but when doing the initial setup. It was hung and nothing happen. I download the setup file of OWASP BWA for VMWasre (vmdx file) and use the Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter 3.0 to convert to (vhdx file) use for Hyper-V platform. I installed the OWASP-BWA virtual machine on Hyper-V. Everything was normal. However, when I turned on that box to do the initial setup of the OWASPBWA box, the process was hung and nothing happened. Thanks in advance!

  • ERROR: black screen with a blinking white caret. It is what happen to mine after following this. Very well walkthrough though. Solution: instead of Generation 1, choose the Generation 2 when creating the VM. Then before installing the Kali, right click the just created VM, named "kali", then click settings. On "security" uncheck the "enable screen boot". Click "apply" or "ok" and start installing the Kali operating system.
