  • Always update your Linux installation before installing any package, run in the terminal window: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y

  • I open it and it crashes it looks like it’s trying but I think it’s just crashing I never see the launcher just the icon is flashing yellow like it is gonna open then it stops

  • Guys if the launcher doesn't open or it just shows the icon in the taskbar and goes into background processes then you have to completely remove the minecraft launcher and it's dependencies using the sudo apt purge command and then try to install it in a new location. This worked out for me. Try for yourself. And Big thank you to your channel for this video. It helped me a ton. THANK YOU! 🙂
