  • There is a HUGE difference between 'reset'-ing and 'restart'-ing a computer. In the US, and I'm sure other places, 'reset'-ing a Windows device WIPES ALL installed applications and resets Windows to a fresh, brand new installation – with NO programs. When I first read the email instructions I thought there was something wrong with this – as it would necessitate reinstallation of all programs. In watching the video it seems like you are just referring to restarting the computer, which is a whole lot more reasonable.

  • What's better – clean setup but horrible non-ergonomic ways for doing anything, or custom built setup with hundreds of personalized shortcuts and menus, but with a price of hours or even days of struggles to recreate all of this after every reinstall.

  • Steam and windows store are the best alternative methods for skipping all of this steps.

  • …or just use Blender Launcher. Totally streamlines your Blender versions/builds etc. Totally changed the game for me

  • When you promote your adds on, you left the rest of the list out, saying that if we have yours We dont need anything else in that list? I mean, it would be great that we only need one add that do all the work. Ill check your adds on, Im interested.

  • Nope Blender setup freeze, cancel not working LOL Trying second time… ok it worked this time, so I can continue with your video lol

  • Josh, been watching both yourself and Ponte Ryuurui for and have learned a lot. I do have a question, I am following along with the above video, but when I am in the 3D Viewport, the screen shakes when I move the mouse pointer toward the bottom. I have not been able to find clear information on this. Any information would be appreciated

  • I prefer launching Blender from the portable .zip files. It's easy-peasy to reinstall the addons, plus there's no added hassle with digging through system folders to delete stuff.

  • This is new to me, I had Blender all this years and I just upgrade it from one version to the next. I havent had a problem with Blender ever. But, lets try this one for today hehe

  • Is there a benefit for using a install vrs the zip?

  • >the right way
    >uses windows
    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • you said to get Blender ready in the Basic level… would appreciate you post a video if we want to prepare it Professionally.. more advanced settings? hope to see it.. THANKS

  • You forgto the Depth in NAvigation.. when zooming gets annyoing when going to near.. with Depth doesn't happen… it's better

  • or you can install on steam so you can see how many hours you spend on blender it motivates you i guess but up to you

  • Josh, I apologize, but I don't understand how to work with decals from the decal machine. That is, I know how to use them, but I really don't know how to work with them in substance painter and bring the model to game ready. Each decal creates a separate texture set and it is very inconvenient. I would like to figure out how to apply smart materials to the model and the decal at the same time. And actually, I would like to see how people work with decal atlases. Would you help me with this?
