• If you have a failed prompt with “KVM modules not installed” run command line: egrep -c '(vmx|svm)' /proc/cpuinfo
  This will display weather your cpu can handle vpm/use multi pass to run ubuntu vm.

  If it comes back displaying a “0” in the multi pass shell , then you’re out of luck and have to duel boot ubuntu like me.

  We couldn’t connect to the remote PC. Make sure the PC is turned on and connected to the network and that remote access is enabled.
  Error code: 0x204.
  when trying to connect to the microsoft remote desktop.
  Not sure what is the problem and how to fix it.

  launch failed: cannot connect to the multipass socket

  Only if I re-install it using the dmg from the official-site it works again but if I restart the mac it returns:

  launch failed: cannot connect to the multipass socket
