  • damn, i tried to flash the ubuntu iso directly on my ssd and wonder why it not worked. now i use the usb as install medium like you. thank you very much 😉

  • Hey I had a question….I followed you till the last but now when I need to use windows and plugged my previous SSD the pc keeps turning on and off by itself…..how do I fix it

  • I'm a beginner so only a suggestion you should confirm separately. Seems that if you make the Ubuntu drive with your original boot drive still installed, more likely to have problems restarting computer when the Ubuntu drive is removed. Instead, initially unplug your boot drive, plug the new Ubuntu drive there to create it, then reconnect original boot drive in the original location. Install the Ubuntu drive where ever you want. Good luck. Feed back would be great!

  • So funny that I look in my hands and I have the same USB as the video without even watching the video hahaha. It all worked like a charm❤

  • That is great! I was able to install Ubuntu easily. I flashed the installing agent on the usb stick using a PC that was running with Windows 11. Then I installed Ubuntu on another computer. My problem now is that I can't mount my usb stick on Windows 11 anymore (it says that it needs to be formated) but I can mount it on Ubuntu. Is that normal? Can somebody explain why? Thank you. 🙂

  • so i installed linux on an ssd, how do i overwite the ssd and install windows on it instead? can you jelp me?

  • Can you then disconnect the SSD you installed Linux to, reconnect your previous HDD and then have that Linux installed drive usable as an external Linux system that can be connected to any other computer set up to boot from a USB port?

  • Crypto Currency is a Ponzi scheme. Ohter than that, this is a great video.

  • It created a partition in the drive and said "you need to format drive before you can use it" so I tried to and it said "disk is write protected."
It looked like it installed Ubuntu on my PC but it wanted to restart but didn't.
After a while I eventually turned it off and when I start it up it shows the splash screen and starts to start up but then it gets stuck on a list of things with [Ok] by on of them.

  • And what happens when you put the Windows SSD back in? Did that several times and actually bootloader failed.

  • Hi man. Thanks for the video. Balena etcher won't flash the linux to my USB. I tried opening the etcher as administrator but still the bug persists. Could you give me any solution for this one? thanks!
