How to make a Blast Furnace in Minecraft

How to make a Blast Furnace in Minecraft?
If you want to make a blast furnace in Minecraft, you would require the following ingredients.
- A Furnace
- 5 Iron Ingots
- 3 Smooth Stone Blocks
Follow the steps mentioned below to collect/or make ingredients required in a Blast Furnace.
- First of all, open the Crafting table.
- Take 8 blocks of cobblestone, and place them in a square on the crafting table to create a furnace. Blackstone blocks can also be used in the Java edition.
- Now, open the Furnace, and place the cobblestone in the upper slot and a flammable fuel block in the lower one (wood, wooden planks, coal, etc). We require 3 smooth stone blocks and all can be generated in the same manner.
- To get Iron Ingots, you need to use a stone pickaxe or a higher-tier pickaxe to mine iron ore blocks. You can make a pickaxe using cobblestones and sticks. Iron can be found at a height as low as Y=-32 and goes as high as Y=256. That means you can even find exposed iron ores at the mountain top, where you might need them the most. The most amount of iron is generated at Y=16.
- After collecting adequate iron ore, place it in the top slot of a furnace to smelt it. Similar to cobblestone, smelting iron ore will yield iron ingots. You will require a total of 5 iron ingots to craft a blast furnace.

Make a Blast Furnace in Minecraft
To make a blast furnace, open the Crafting table, put the furnace in the center slot of the crafting area, and place all the iron ingots in the empty slots on the top and middle rows of the crafting area. Then, in the bottom row, put all the smooth stone blocks. Finally, move the newly created item to your inventory and you will be good to go.
What is the recipe for a blast furnace?
To make a blast furnace, you need 5 Iron Ingot, 4 Smoothing Stone, and a Furnace. Once you have these items, just combine them all together in a crafting table as mentioned earlier and you will have a blast furnace.
