click start button, search ‘system configuration’, click boot on the top bar, click ‘advanced options’, change number of processors to 1, click apply, reboot, pray that this works

NOTE: I’ve noticed a lot of people having trouble with these installation methods. Fallout 3 is a very unpredictable game on PC; mainly because it can just stop working for a period of time. Trust me, I’ve had these same issues, and not very many things seem too work. If none of these methods work, then please look elsewhere for additional help.
