How To Make Linux Look Like Windows XP/Vista/7/8.1/10

There are a variety of Linux themes, and can recreate Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8.1 and 10. Installation is beginner friendly – just unzip and change the settings!

According to uzefulvideos (who left a comment on this video – thanks!), you can use the CobiWindowList applet to get the Windows 7/8/10 taskbar behaviour. If you are using XFCE, you can install the DockbarX-Plugin to achieve the same thing.

Use apt instead of apt-get if you get the “Command not found” error.
