  • thanks, my mother is really stubborn about having windows but her laptop cant run it haha.. No way she notices that its actually linux

  • I tried doing this in a vmware virtual machine running ubuntu 20.04 and when I log in to the cinnamon environment my screen is completely black. I had auto login enabled so when I restarted it automatically logged into cinnamon with a black screen. I eventually rebooted the VM into the grub menu, launched into recovery mode and uninstalled cinnamon. Back to default ubuntu environment for me. I wish this had worked but I don't have time to troubleshoot the black screen.

  • thank you, this video helped so much, now i can troll my teacher next school year. instead of using arleady existing VDI for ubuntu, ill use this file, so the ubuntu looks exactly like windows 10 VDI on school computers

  • the latest version of MINT really botched the system settings, Font customization, and the device manager is now "Driver manager", which the device manager is not such a bad thing but I cant find the stupid Text resizing option. Only I see is scaling the whole screen. Just crazy. I think they messed it up! So I am looking for another Distro

  • How to network monitor show in panel

  • How much data needed to cinnamon download

  • Problem: "Unable to locate package cinnamon"
Solution {working}: Type the following commands in "Terminal":-

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gwendal-lebihan-dev/cinnamon-nightly
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install cinnamon

    Done! 🙂

  • I know this is old and apologize for bumping it but DMZ-white is not in my master folder I downloaded

  • Love This But, Is there a way to get Anmiations? Regulur Ubuntu has plenty of them and it makes the desktop as well as everything else seem very smooth!

  • The Live Tiles were arguably one of the best features of Windows 10. If only developers had more support for it, it would have been, like the favourite feature for most people. I've used it to it's full extent possible in Windows 10, and that's why I think they just underdelivered with a potentially market-changing feature.
