Hi, perfect tutorial. During a few days I will migrate AD from samba to Windows AD. I have questions for you: 1) Is possible migrate from 2008R2 to 2022 DC? 2) Why during protote 2019 didnť pop up an error about FRS sysvol. ( from migrate 2008 to W2019/2022 must be sysvol migrate to DFSR ). I´ve done migration from WS2003 to 2022 a month ago. First I´ve added WS2012 to AD, then demote WS2003. Then promote 2022, but during promote error about FRS. I´ve done migrate from FRS to DFRS on WS2012 then promote 2022 without errors.
I am getting errors in the replication, I could follow the tutorial up to the DNS config, but the DNS on Windows won't save the Windows Server's IP address. On samba, the output I get from samba-tool drs showrepl is "Last attempt failed, result 2 (WERR_BADFILE). Can you help me solve this?
